Only use the enclosed measuring cables for measuring, which are attuned to
the specifications of the multimeter.
If safe operation can no longer be assumed, put the appliance out of operation
and protect it from being used again accidentally! Safe operation can no longer
be assumed if
- the appliance shows visible damage,
- the appliance no longer functions,
- after long storage under adverse conditions or
- after heavy transport strain.
Never turn the appliance on when you bring it from a cold into a warm room.
The condensation may destroy the appliance under adverse circumstances.
Leave the appliance turned off until it has reached room temperature.
Do not leave packaging material lying around. Plastic foils/bags and poly-
styrene parts are dangerous toys for children.
Please also observe the safety notices in the individual chapters of this manu-
al.
Product Description
The digital multimeter (hereafter called DMM) has a high-contrast 4
display of functions and measuring units as well as an integrated bar display.
The individual measuring ranges are selected via a rotary switch on which the auto-
matic range selection "auto range" is activated. This always sets the respective
matching measuring range.
Further additional functions are:
• "MAX/MIN" for recording the minimum and maximum measuring value; the push
of the button switches between the two displays. To deactivate, press the button
"MAX/MIN" for more than 1 second.
• "HOLD" for "freezing" a measuring value
• "REL" to perform a relative value measuring
• "LowImp.200k" reduced measuring impedance for suppressing phantom voltage
measurements
• An automatic power-off function switches the DMM off after approx. 30 minutes
idle time in order not to strain the battery unnecessarily.
The measuring device can be applied universally in the hobby and the industrial or
school sector.
Power supply requires an alkaline 9V block battery, e.g. type 6LR61 or MN1604 or
6F22 or 006P.

Attention!
Do not exceed the maximum admissible input values under any
circumstances! Do not touch any circuits or circuit parts if these
carry voltages in excess of 25 V ACrms or 35 V DC! Mortal danger!
