HE THERMOSTAT CONTROLS THE COMPRESSOR ONLY
You must unplug the appliance to disconnect it from the mains.
1.
Switch on the appliance after the first waiting period and set the
thermostat to position MAX.
2.
Allow the appliance to operate for approx. 4 hours without any frozen
goods stored in.
3.
After this period of time has elapsed set the thermostat to position
NORMAL. NORMAL is the standard-setting for daily use. You can store
food in the appliance now.

If you desire a higher (= warmer) setting of the temperature, set the
thermostat to position MIN.
5.
When the ambient temperature is very high, e.g. on hot summer days, you
can set the thermostat to a lower position, e.g. from NORMAL to MAX, to
increase the cooling-temperature. Set the thermostat to a higher position if
very much encrusted ice occurs in the appliance.
6.
Try several settings to achieve best performance of your appliance.
1. The appliance can only reach the relevant temperatures when:
a. the a ambient temperature meets the climatic class.
b. the doors close properly.
c. you do not open the doors too often or too long.
d. the door seals are in proper condition.
e. the appliance is properly positioned.
f. you have not overfilled the appliance.
g. you do not store warm or hot food in the appliance.
2. High ambient temperatures and simultaneously operating at the coldest setting
may make the compressor operate permanently to keep the temperature
constant inside the appliance.
3. Defrost the appliance whenever the diameter of the encrusted ice is more than
3-4 mm.
Cooked food can be stored in the appliance. Let it cool down to room
temperature before you put it into your appliance.
Store your food in colourless, airtight and tasteless materials.
Some food like meat, fish etc. may become dry and release strong odours. You
can avoid these by wrapping them into aluminium foil or plastic wrap or putting
them into an airtight bag or container.
