Assembly of machine

Remove all components from the packing case, make sure each log splitter is packed in
one carton and place the components neatly so that they may be identified and checked
for any possible damage during transit. Should any component be found damaged, please
contact your Texas dealer immediately.

C: Operation handles
D: Wheels
E: Oil pump
F: Motor start switch

Check all components with reference to the following list (Fig 1).
Assembly of Power Split 550h
Start assembling the machine by separately grouping the legs and nuts and place the log
splitter as shown in image x. The legs marked A must be fitted in the opposite end of the
electric motor and the legs marked B must be fitted in the same end as the electric motor.
The A legs have a single traverse rod that is designated C and the B legs have a single
traverse rod that is designated D. NB: The C rod is longer than the D rod.
