The assembly mentioned above is an interface able to read out following signals from the
H
CAN protocol of a car. Decryption as follows (depending on car's configuration):
- ignition (terminal 15, 1A maximum load!)
- illumination (terminal. 58, 1A maximum load!)
- speed impulse: square wave signal, 0,64 Hz per km/h
- reverse gear (depends on cars' configuration, 100mA maximum load!)
- telephone mute (depends on cars' configuration)
- steering wheel remote control (if exists) for afterwards mentioned units from different
manufacturers
For more specific information about features, please refer to the installation manual from the
cable kit of the concerning car.
Tap off locations of CAN high and CAN low for installation of the cable kit 61323 are described
in the appendix from page 18. Steering wheel remote control will only be adapted when it was
originally built in and communicates via CAN data bus with the OEM radio.

ATTENTION: The steering wheel remote control will only work when ignition is on. If the Interface is
installed with Becker head units, you can only connect the current CD-Changer which is
announced to fit with your head unit!
You can not connect the BECKER Remote kit for iPod and the steering wheel control in the same
time. It is possible to connect only one of both.
