4. Before the first use

Before you start operating the appliance, check that
1. The appliance is positioned and levelled properly.
2. The inlet valve is opened.
3. The connections of the hoses do not leak.
4. The appliance is plugged in properly.
5. The power is switched on.
6. The hoses are not knotted.
7. You have removed the complete packaging material..
Before you operate the appliance for the first time
A) Adjust the water softener.
B) Pour 500 ml water into the container of the water softener and pour in the
water softener (= dishwasher salt).
C) Pour in the rinse aid.
D) Select a washing programme.

4.1 Water softener

You must fill in the water-softener manually; please use the water-softener filler
hole. Open the lid and pour approx. 2 kg of water-softener into the container; then
close the lid properly.

Lights when have to be refilled.

The indicator will light up after having
flashed 6 times.
Lights up when the function is activated.
Indicates that the appliance is operating.
Lights up while drying.
Indicates: remaining operation time, error
codes, time delay.
