10. Operation

a) General Functions
Switching On/Off
• Push the button MODE/STANDBY (2) briefly to switch on the device.
• Keep the button MODE/STANDBY (2) pushed in order to switch off the device again (standby
mode).
In standby mode, the display shows the time and date.
When the device is switched on, it will start in the last operating mode used.
Selection of the operating mode
• Push the button MODE/STANDBY (2) briefly with the device switched on to switch between
DAB and FM mode.
Setting the volume
• Push the button VOL+ (10) to increase volume.
• Push the button VOL- (8) to reduce volume.
Display brightness
• Push the SNOOZE/DIMMER button (5) to set the display brightness.
• The display brightness can be adjusted in three levels or the display can be turned off in the
fourth level.
When no operation takes place, the display brightness will be reduced by one level
after some time automatically.
