Connect the hair dryer only to a correctly installed mains power socket

Under no circumstances may the hair dryer be submerged in

fl uids, or fl uids be permitted to enter the appliance housing. Do
not expose the appliance to humidity and do not use it outdoors.
Should liquids enter the housing, disconnect the appliance from
the power source immediately and arrange for it to be repaired
by a qualifi ed technician.
Disconnect the hair dryer from the mains power socket if defective

operation is apparent and before cleaning it.
To disconnect it, pull only on the plug itself, not on the power cable.

Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance and protect

the cable from being damaged.
Should the power cable of the appliance be damaged, to avoid

potential risks it must be replaced by the manufacturer, his cus-
tomer service or by a qualifi ed technician.
Do not kink or crush the power cable and lay it in such a way as

to prevent people from stepping on or tripping over it.
Do not use extension cables.

Never touch the hair dryer, the power cable or the plug with wet

hands.
Disconnect the hair dryer from the power source immediately af-

ter use. The appliance is completely free of electrical power only
when you unplug it.
You are not permitted to open or repair the housing of the hair

dryer. Should you do so, appliance safety can no longer be as-
sured and the warranty will become void. Arrange for the hair
dryer to be serviced and repaired only by qualifi ed specialists.
