Residual hazards
Protection of persons
The X10, X21 and X20 power connector contacts can conduct hazardous voltages if
ƒ
the frequency inverter is connected to the mains. Therefore, disconnect the
frequency inverter before carrying out any work on it.
The operating temperature of the housing can be > 60°C.
ƒ
Skin contact may cause burns!
– Do not touch the housing during operation.
– After switching off wait a sufficient period of time before touching the housing.
Motor protection
The connected motor can overheat if
ƒ
– motors are operated on the frequency inverter that do not feature temperature
monitoring with PTC thermistor (PTC) or thermal contact (NC contact)
– temperature monitoring with PTC thermistor (PTC) or thermal contact
(NC contact) is not connected to the frequency inverter.
– temperature monitoring is not activated.
