function. After successful entry, the time and the date are set.
If you want even more convenience, you can also obtain the time and date from the
Internet via [Auto update]. How many people have a clock at home that is perfectly ac-
curate? The NOXON A540 automatically uses an NTP server (NTP stands for Network
Time Protocol) to synchronise.
To change the time format, select [Set format]. Please select between the 24-hour clock
or the 12-hour clock here. Please note that if you select the 12-hour display, the clock will

Here, you can configure the network settings of
your NOXON A540.
In this menu item, the date and time can be set.
You have already done this in the setup wizard at
the beginning – but perhaps you want to take the
NOXON A540 along with you on holiday, are mov-
ing or the switch from standard to summer (day-
light saving) time is around the corner. Whatever
the case, you can change all this under [Set Time/
If you are not satisfied with any of the
presets, you can also create your own,
customised to your tastes, under [Set
my equalizer]. This allows you to raise
or lower bass and treble levels by up
to 14 dB. "Loudness" is a preset that
gives you a big sound even at very low
volumes.
You can then call up your stored set-
tings using [My equalizer]
