4.5. Mains adapter

Only use the mains adapter supplied (Everway Industries LTD., mod-
el number: EW35V400-090A). The mains adapter may only be used in
dry interior rooms.

4.6. Never carry out repairs yourself

• WARNING! In the interests of safety, never open the housing of the
loudspeaker panel, the subwoofer or the mains adapter! There is
a risk of electric shock if the mains adapter housing is open. There
are no parts requiring maintenance.
• In the event of a fault please contact the MEDION Service Centre or
an approved repair specialist.
• The cable on the mains adapter cannot be replaced. If the cable is
damaged, the mains adapter must be scrapped and replaced with
a mains adapter of the same type in order to avoid hazards. In such
cases please contact the MEDION Service Centre.

4.7. Handling the button cell safely

To retain data in the event of a power failure (station memory, date,
time and alarm times), you can insert a CR 2032 button cell into the
device. Please observe the following instructions:
• Keep batteries away from children. Batteries can be fatal if swal-
lowed. If a battery is swallowed, please obtain immediate medical
assistance.
• Do not expose the batteries to excessive heat (such as direct sun-
light, fire or similar).
• If necessary, clean the battery and device contacts before insertion.
• Please note the polarity (+/−) when inserting the battery.
• Always remove empty batteries from the device immediately!
There is an increased risk of leakage!
• Do not expose the battery to extreme conditions; for example, do
not place the device on top of a radiator! There is an increased risk
of leakage!
• Never try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries! There is a risk of
explosion!
• Remove a leaking battery from the device immediately. Clean the
