Connect distribution socket (57) to floor of vehicle or to the
wall near the device (cable length 150 cm).
Gas connection
The gas supply's operating pressure (30 mbar) must
be the same as the unit's operating pressure (see type
plate).
The 8 mm gas line is connected to the connection nozzle with
a cutting ring connection. The cutting rings provided are to be
selected according to the gas pipe used (for copper pipe, sup-
port sleeve and brass cutting ring). When tightening, hold in
position carefully with a second spanner!
Before connecting to the water heater make sure that the gas
lines are free from dirt, chips and such!
Route the pipes in such a way that the appliance can be re-
moved again for servicing.
In areas frequented by people, keep the number of par ting
connections in the gas supply line to an technically feasible
minimum.
The gas system must accord with the technical and adminis-
trative provisions of the individual country of use (in Europe,
for example, EN 1949 for motor vehicles or EN ISO 10239 for
boats). The national regulations and directives (e.g. in Germa-
ny the DVGW-Work Sheet G 607 for vehicles, G 608 for boats
or BGV 146 for commercial inland waterway vessels) need to
be observed.
Function check
After installation, the gas feed line must be tested for tight-
ness by the pressure-drop method. A test certificate (e.g. in
Germany the DVGW-Work Sheet G 607 for vehicles, G 608 for
boats or BGV 146 for commercial inland waterway vessels)
must be issued.
Never operate the water heater without water contents!
It is, however, possible to briefly check the electrical function
without water contents. Always observe the operating instruc-
tions prior to operation!
Warning information
The yellow sticker with the warning information enclosed with
this unit must be attached by the person installing the boat
or the owner of the boat / vehicle in a place within the vehicle
that is clearly visible to all users (e.g. on the wardrobe door)!
Any missing stickers can be ordered from Truma. Ask Truma
to send you stickers, if necessary.
