3. This appliances is intended
to be used in household and
similar applications such as:
ƒ staff kitchen areas in shops,
offices and others working
environments;
ƒ farm houses;
ƒ by clients in hotels, motels
and other residential type
environments;
ƒ bed and breakfast type envi-
ronments.
4. Children should be super-
vised in order to ensure they
don't play with the machine.
5. Connect the appliance to
alternating current only, in
accordance with the rating
plate.
6. Appliances are not intended
to be operated by means of
an external timer or separate
remotecontrol system.
7. Never immerse the appli-
ance into water or any other
liquid. You may risk an elec-
tric shock!
8. Never touch the appliance or
power cord with wet hands.
9. For safety reasons, never
place the appliance on hot
surfaces, a metal tray or a
wet surface.
10. Do not place the appliance
or power cord near open fla-
mes during operation.
11. Make sure that the power
cord does not hang over the
edge of the countertop or
table, since this can cause
accidents, for example if
small children pull on the
cord.

12. If you use an extension cord,
make sure that it is intact
and suitable for the power
draw of the appliance; other-
wise, there is a possibility of
overheating.
13. Route the power cord and
extension cord, if used, so
that there is no possibility
of the cords being pulled or
tripped over.
14. Use the
indoors.
15. Unwind cable before heating
the grill to avoid any contact
with hot parts.
16. Do not touch the grill plates
during operation: you may
burn your skin!
17. Touch the hot unit only at
the handles.
18. Take care that the unit is
placed with sufficient space
round and is not placed
directly near a wall or corner.
19. For cleaning take of pla-
tes when cooled down and
clean by hand or in the dish-
washer. The unit should be
wiped with a damp cloth.
Always remove plug from
socket before cleaning!
20. Do not use the appliance
with accessories of other
manufacturers or brands, to
prevent damage.
21. After use remove plug from
the socket and let the con-
tact grill cool down before
storage. Check the plug and
power cord regularly for wear
and damage. In case of a
fault, please send the appli-
