Starting Up

Safety information
Caution: It is essential to read the Safety Information in Chapter 1
before starting up.
3.2
Checking the contents of the package
The package contains:
a base station with power adapter
plug
a handset with belt clip
an operating manual
3.3
Connecting the base station
Connect the base station as illustrated in the diagram. For reasons of safety,
only use the power adapter plug and telephone connection line supplied.

Inserting the batteries
Insert the AAA" batteries in the open
battery compartment. Only use batteries
of the type AAA Ni-MH 1.2 V 650 mAh.
Pay attention to correct polarity. Close
the battery compartment cover.
3.5
Attach belt clip
Press the belt clip on the rear side of the handset at
the top, until it audibly snaps into place.
