Before using for the first time
■ Clean the appliance as described in
the section Cleaning and care.
■ Boil fresh water in the appliance twice
as described in the section Boiling
water and subsequently pour out the
water.
NOTE
► Only use fresh water without addi-
tives.
► During the initial period of use, odour
may be produced by the materials
used in the appliance. The odour will
diminish after a short period of time.
■ Clean the appliance as described in
the section Cleaning and care.

Operation

Boiling water

Fill the kettle (2) with the desired

amount of fresh water.
NOTE
► Do not fill up over the MAX (12)
mark or below the MIN (11) mark.
Place the kettle (2) onto the cordless
‹
socket (9).
Insert the plug into the mains socket.
‹
Switch on the appliance by pressing
‹
down the on/off switch (4). The indica-
tor light lights up. When the water
boils, the appliance switches itself off
automatically.
