Cleaning hard floors (steam vacuuming)
Using the 4-S cleaning nozzle you can clean and dry your ceramic/
stone/plastic flooring in one operation, making effective use of the steam's
energy, saving water and power and doing the job in an environmentally-
friendly manner. You can carry out thorough, high-quality cleaning without
using chemical cleaning agents.
P Fit the carpet spray-jet (39) onto the 4-S cleaning nozzle (40). Lock the
holding-clip (80) in position on the connecting-pin of the carpet spray-jet
(39).
Now fit the steam connector (50) to the steam connection point (41) on
the 4-S cleaning nozzle and lock the nozzle into position by turning in
the direction of the arrow.
M
Pull mains plug (78) out of the appliance and connect to mains.
Switch on the appliance at the master ON/OFF switch (16). The yellow
N
indicator lamp (12) signals that the appliance is ready for use.
Switch on the steam boiler heater at switch (15). The integrated indicator
lamp must now light up.
The heating time is approx. 7 minutes. The green indicator lamp (14)
signals that the appliance is ready for steam operations.
Please note !
In spraying mode (as in steam vacuuming mode), the speed control function
is not active. The appliance operates automatically at maximum power, to
ensure optimum vacuuming of the soiled water.
Please ensure that, when the appliance is set to vacuum only, the vacuum
regulator is set at maximum.
You can begin cleaning by pressing the button (30) on the handle; steam
O
will then be emitted from the nozzle.
In order to extract the loosened dirt, switch on the suction function by
pressing the button (29).
The functions can be switched on and off as required by repeatedly
pressing buttons (29) and (30).
N
You can set the desired quantity of steam with the steam regulator (9).
The maximum steam quantity is recommended when cleaning hard floors
and smooth surfaces.
Q
During breaks in work, you can place the 4-S cleaning nozzle (40) in the
collecting dish (21) (according to machine type), in order to collect any
residual liquid which may flow out of the suction tube and the nozzle
system.
Remove the nozzle again by placing one foot on the clip which protrudes
from the collecting dish (21) and pulling out the suction tube with the 4-S
cleaning nozzle.
Please note!

vacuuming mode or in cleaning-vacuuming mode.
Cleaning smooth surfaces
The steam vacuuming nozzle (66) is used to clean smooth surfaces, such as
windows and other glass surfaces, mirrors and wall tiles.
Please note!
In order to prevent stress in glass surfaces (possibly leading to bursting), you
should steam over the entire surface of the glass surfaces to be cleaned
(particularly when low outdoor temperatures apply), in order to balance out
temperature differences.
You can fit this nozzle directly onto the handle (32) or to the suction
U
tube (52), as required.
When using the suction tube, fit the steam connector (50) to the steam
connection point (67) on the steam vacuuming nozzle (66) and lock the
nozzle into position by turning in the direction of the arrow.
If the steam vacuuming nozzle (66) is fitted directly onto the handle,
use the adapter (62). Connect the plug (64) to the socket coupler (31) on
the handle. Now fit the steam coupler (63) to the steam connector (67)
on the steam vacuuming nozzle (66) and lock this nozzle into position by
turning in the direction of the arrow.

6.3 Cleaning hard floors, cleaning-vacuuming (steaming,
spraying, vacuuming)
The term 'cleaning-vacuuming' refers to a combination of "spray
extraction" (Section 5.2) and "Steam vacuuming" (Section
6.2), and is particularly suitable for removing stubborn dirt when cleaning
hard floors, when the applied quantity of water applied in the steam is not
sufficient on its own to attain good cleaning results.
The energy of the steam detaches the dirt and the cleaning agent solution
binds the dirt, which is subsequently extracted into the soiled-water tank.
Revolutionary innovation, unique throughout the world

Steaming + spraying + scrubbing + vacuuming = cleaning

Degree of

Please note!
In cleaning-vacuuming mode, work with the 4-S cleaning nozzle only and
ensure that both the steam connector (50) and the spraying nozzle (49) are
fitted.
Depending on the individual application and the degree of soiling, you can
use the Pro Floor cleaning concentrate or simply fill the fresh water
tank with hand-warm tap water.
In cleaning-vacuuming mode, the functions spraying (button 28), steaming
O
(button 30) and vacuuming (button 29) can be combined on the handle
as required, and operated on their own or in combination:
steaming + vacuuming = buttons 30 + 29
spraying + vacuuming = buttons 28 + 29
steaming, spraying + vacuuming = buttons 30 + 28 + 29

▪ Dirt is loosened using the energy of the steam.
▪ The dirt is bound with the cleaning agent solution
(spraying system).
▪ The soiled water is extracted at
