6.10 Inserting the batteries (DM1000 LED only)*
The microscope can be powered by batteries if
you prefer. The batteries are automatically
charged when the microscope is connected to
the mains supply.
The microscope can be used for about 6-8 hours
in battery-operated mode.
• The battery compartment is accessed from
underneath the stand (23a.1); remove the lid
of the compartment
• Insert the batteries (order no. p. 56) as shown
on the bottom of the compartment (fig. 23b)
and close the lid

6.11 Connection to the Power Supply

• After completing the assembly work, connect
the stand to the power supply using the power
cable supplied (fig. 23c)
• When using the lamp housing or the
external power supply unit, connect them to
the power supply, too
