Alternative
Alternatively, you can also connect an S-video cable between the S-video input on
the LCD TV and the S-video output on the external device.
Note
Do not use the S-video input and video input at the same time to avoid
interference with the picture.
3. With a component video cable (3x cinch)
If the DVD player has YUV outputs (Y Pb Pr), we recommend connecting the
player to the Y-Pb-Pr inputs on the LCD TV using a component cable
(green/blue/red cinch cable).
Connect a stereo cinch cable (red and white plugs) to the AUDIO L – R inputs for
sound transmission.
4. With an HDMI cable
If the external device has an HDMI output, connect an HDMI cable (not supplied)
between the HDMI input on the LCD TV and the HDMI output on the external
device.
Connecting a video recorder
Connect an aerial cable between the aerial socket on the LCD TV and the output
on the video recorder.
Connect an additional aerial cable between the aerial input on the video recorder
and the aerial socket in the wall.
You can also use a SCART cable to connect the LCD TV and the video recorder. This is
recommended for high-quality picture and sound quality. If you wish to transfer
stereo sound, you will need a SCART connection.
Connect the SCART cable to the SCART socket on the LCD TV.
Connect the other end of the SCART cable to the SCART OUT socket on the video
recorder.
