Maintenance after each Use
ATTENTION! Before cleaning, inspecting or repairing your unit, make
sure that engine is stopped and has cooled down. The gasoline chain
saw can be hot during use. Do not touch the muffler. There is risk of
burns!
Air Filter
1.
Open the air filter cover (3) by turning
the knob counter clockwise and re-
move the cover.
2.
Remove the filter element and brush
away adherent sawdust.
3.
If the filter is blocked due to dirt in the
meshes, split the cleaner into naives
and wash in gasoline. When using compressed
air, blow from the inside. To assemble the filter
element, depress the rim until it clicks and puts
the halves together.
Guide Bar
1.
When the guide bar is dis-
mounted, remove sawdust in
the bar rail. Grease the nose
sprocket
feeding port on the tip of the
guide bar.
2.
Reverse
occasionally
partial wear. The guide bar
rail should always be a
square. Check for wear of
the bar rail.
