Making calls
If the backlight is deactivated (
it is switched on by pressing any key. In
this case the pressed key has no other
function.
Making an external call
External calls are calls using the public tel-
ephone network.

You can cancel the dialling operation with

while the call is in progress.

Continuing a call on a Bluetooth headset
Prerequisite: Bluetooth is activated; a
connection has been established between
the Bluetooth headset and the handset

Press the talk key on the headset; it may
take up to 5 seconds to establish a connec-
tion to the handset.
You can set the earpiece and microphone
volume during the call using the side keys.

Accepting a call
The handset indicates an incoming call in
three ways: by ringing, by a display on the
screen and by the flashing talk key c.
Accept the call by:

Pressing the talk key c.

Pressing the speaker key d.

the Auto Answer function is activated

Calling Line Identification
When you receive a call, the caller's
number is displayed on the screen if the
following conditions are met:

Your network provider supports CLIP,
CLI.
– CLI (Calling Line Identification): the
caller's number is transmitted.
– CLIP (Calling Line Identification Pres-
entation): the caller's number is dis-
played.
u
You have requested CLIP from your net-
work provider.
