16 USE OF NETVIEWER

16.1 PLUG-INS DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION

Open IE browser and input IP address and web port of DVR, such as http://172.18.6.202:80/.
Reminder: If the plug-in is not successfully downloaded, please check if your browser's safety level or firewall setting (see
Appendix: ActiveX installation). Also refer to Network Setup to make sure network configuration is correct.
Or start Viewer Software Client that is supplied inside the CD with the DVR.

16.3 MAIN INTERFACE OF NETVIEWER

Netviewer shows the following sections on the screen:

After plug-in installation, please select log-in language and enter
password and click [Log-in] button, and now you can view DVR
remotely through NetViewer.
Please note default password is empty. System allows
Administrator to set new password.
If NETWORK is selected as LAN, video stream will be performed in
Main Stream; otherwise, if NETWORK is selected as INTERNET,
video stream will be performed in Sub-Stream.
NOTE: If you want to delete old IE webcam at DVR system
update, run the command characters: "regsvr32/u dvrocx.ocx"
After successful Log-in to Net-viewer, system will enter into live
display interface, automatically connecting audio/video (shown as
Picture 6-2).
