Notes on the use of batteries
WARNING

Batteries can be extremely dangerous if
swallowed. Keep batteries and all device
parts out of the reach of small children. If a
battery is swallowed, seek medical assist-
ance immediately.

Batteries should not be charged or reac-
tivated with any other means, nor should
they be taken apart, thrown in the fire or
short-circuited.

Batteries can contain poisonous sub-
stances that are damaging to health and
the environment. Therefore, batteries
must be disposed of in accordance with
the applicable legal regulations. Never
dispose of batteries in the normal house-
hold waste.
CAUTION
•
Leaking batteries can damage the
device. If you do not use the device for
an extended period of time, remove the
batteries from the battery compartment.
•
If a battery has leaked, wear protective
gloves to clean the battery compartment
using a dry cloth.
