Device-specific safety information for redundant operation (SIL 3)
Safety function
Measuring temperature is the safety function with the temperature transmitters.
It applies to output currents from 4 to 20 mA and ensures an accuracy of ± 2% of the maximum span.
The output value is updated at least every 620 ms (filter time constant of the electrical damping = 0 s).
The partial system is of type B. The calculations are valid for the operating mode with low demand rate in redundant
operation. The specific values are listed in the manufacturer declaration for the product (Declaration of Conformity,
Functional Safety according to IEC 61508 and IEC 61511):
