• Observe the following when setting up the appliance:
- Place the appliance with its rear to the wall. Leave a
ventilation distance of 4 cm.
- Place the appliance on a heat-resistant, stable and even
surface (no varnished surfaces, no table cloths etc.).
- Place it beyond children's reach.
- Leave a ventilation distance of at least 4 cm to all sides and
1 m above the appliance to avoid damage by heat or fat
splatters and to grant an unobstructed work area.
Unhindered air supply has to be ensured.
- Do not operate the appliance in the vicinity of sources of heat
(oven, gas flame etc.) or in explosive environments, where
inflammable liquids or gases are located.
Attention! Hazard of fire! This appliance is not qualified
for installation.
• Pull the power plug after each use for safe switch-off.
• Do not use the appliance as space heater.

Prior to initial use

Remove all packaging from both appliance and equipment.
• Take the rotisserie spit and the rotisserie handle out of the oven.
Prior to initial use, the protective coating on the heating elements must be
•
burned in. Therefore, heat up the empty oven at the setting "upper and lower
heat with rotisserie" with the maximum temperature. Set the timer at 10
minutes. Please do not be bothered by the slight, harmless smoke and smell that will be
generated for a short while.
• After the appliance has cooled down, please clean the interior oven with a moist cloth. Prior
to each operation make sure the oven and the accessories are dry.
• By means of the handle included, the roasting tray and the grill grid can be removed from
the oven even in hot condition.

How to operate your appliance

The crumb tray must always be inserted below the lower heating element.

1. Setting the temperature

With the upper rotary knob you can set the desired temperature.

2. Selecting the function

With the middle rotary knob you can set the requested function, choose between "upper heat with
rotisserie", "lower heat" and "upper and lower heat with rotisserie".
The motor for the rotisserie spit drives automatically also at the setting "lower heat"
irrespective of whether a spit is slotted in.
For using the circulating air function press the circulating air rocker switch. It glows when it
is activated. The circulating air function can be activated or deactivated anytime during
operation.
