Fitting the water container lid
Place the lid assembly (1) inside the water container (2). Ensure that the lugs (a) are
correctly positioned in the side (b) of the container. If not so positioned, the steam function
cannot be started for safety reasons, as steam might escape through the container opening.
To remove the lid from the container, press both buttons (4) on top of the lid.
General information on programming the unit
- When any control button is pressed, the correct input is acknowledged by one beep
signal. Any incorrect or invalid input is indicated by a double beep.
- For all programmes, cooking times of up to 95 minutes can be selected. For steam
cooking, however, a maximum cooking time of 30 minutes is available.
- A programme can be either interrupted or restarted by pressing STOP.
General operating sequence
- Place the food to be heated in a suitable container. Place the container on the centre of
the base plate in the oven.
- When food is heated up in the microwave, it should be covered to prevent it from
drying out. Glass or plastic covers especially designed for use with microwave
appliances are available at most kitchenware dealers.
- When using the combination or the light-wave functions, do not cover the food to be
cooked. The rack is inserted in the guide rails. The two spacing lugs should be towards
the rear wall of the compartment. The food is placed directly onto the grill rack. When
using this rack, always place the drip tray underneath.
- Close the door and set the desired programme.
- During operation, the interior light remains on.
- If, during operation, the door is opened or STOP is pressed (e.g. to stir or turn the food
to ensure the heat is evenly distributed), the timer and programme functions are
automatically suspended and will automatically resume only after the door is closed
again and
is pressed.
- Press STOP twice to interrupt the programme.
- Once the pre-programmed time has elapsed, a beep signal is heard and the interior light
switches off. The signal is repeated at 2-minute intervals until the door is opened or
STOP is pressed.
