6.6.9 "VALV" - setting mode:

adaptation of controller for driving signal to
proportional valve

The proportional valve is driven by a pulse width modulated
(PWM) signal from the controller. The % opening of the valve
depends on the pulse-duty factor of this PWM signal, the
admission pressure and the temperature. Since the valve only
opens at a certain pulse-duty factor, a limit must be set here.
This is attained when the proportional valve is just about to
open, i.e. shortly before start of flow.

è With this key you increase the %
opening of the proportional valve, i.e. the
latter opens up to a max. of 100%.
è With this key you reduce the % opening
of the proportional valve.
è Be sure to set the minimum pulse-duty factor of the
PWM signal on first commissioning of the device! As a
basic rule, set the minimum pulse-duty factor at
maximum admission pressure!
è Press the Enter key. On
release of the key, you
will be in the adjusting
mode. The current value
of flow rate is displayed.
è On pressing the INC or DEC
key the current % opening of
the valve is displayed.
