the saw blade is longer than required for the
intended cut. A 4 cm longer saw blade will
avoid excessive kickback.
Stroke Rate Regulator
The stroke rate of the saw blade can be set differently by using
the stroke rate regulator (5). The desirable stroke rate depends
on the material and the saw blade being used.
Adjust the cutting speed on the relevant material. In general, a
higher speed is used for softer materials such as wood, compo-
sites and plastics. A lower speed is used for more precise cuts or
harder materials such as sheet metal, cable ducts and pipes.
