5.1

Control and regulation elements

The way the Prometheus fireplace inserts are constructed enables their easiest possible
operation. The positions of fireplace insert controls are shown in following pictures.
5.1.1

Fireplace door opening

Door opening in the horizontal direction is shown in Fig. no.2. The door pulling handle is
detachable and detach it always after the door has been shut! Mind the cleanness of
sealing surfaces on the internal frame of fireplace door so that the door can be shut in the
easiest possible way. Shut the fireplace door properly and tightly!
5.1.2

Regulation of primary air access

Type range Prometheus Fratto 501 / Piatto 503 (Fig. no.3a)
The primary air for combustion is sucked through one controllable shutting flap at the head
of the ash-pan. The operation and regulation are shown in figure no. 3a. The maximum air
supply is achieved in „O" position. Mind the cleanness of the head of the ash-pan so that
the flap can freely move.
Type range Prometheus Fratto 51 / Piatto 53 (Fig. no.3b)
The primary air for combustion is sucked through one controllable shutting flap in lower
part of the fireplace door. The operation and regulation are shown in figure no. 3b. The
maximum air supply is achieved in „O" position. Mind the cleanness of the flap.
Type range Prometheus Piatto 73 (Fig. no.3c)
The primary air for combustion is sucked through one controllable shutting flap in lower
part of the fireplace door. The operation and regulation are shown in figure no. 3c. The
maximum air supply is achieved in „O" position. Mind the cleanness of the flap.
