17.3 Output directory for
snapshots
NOTE!
You can also use "Daum PotPlayer" to view videos as an alternative to the VLC Media
Player. This program is also available free of charge over the Internet.
 After launching the VLC Media Player, click
"Tools" and then "Preferences".
 Select the "Video" symbol on the left.
 In the "Take video snapshots" area, click the
"Browse ..." button and choose the folder in
which you wish to store the snapshots.
 You can also select the output format of the
generated files (.png or .jpg) as well as your
own prefix to be appended to the beginning
of the file name.
 To save your "preferences", click save.
