4. First steps

Connect the Network Video Recorder to your Internet router (via LAN cable). Connect
a TV or monitor to the corresponding output (HDMI, VGA or analog BNC video output).
Once the power supply is made via the included AC adapter, the Network Video Recorder
starts automatically (within approximately 30 seconds). If the boot process is completed,
you hear a short beep.

4.1 Login information

In the menu you will be asked for a username
and password. In the default condition, you will
need to enter the following values:

4.2 Installation Wizard

The first use of Network Video Recorder, an installation wizard will start.
Step 1:
Here you can see the QR codes of the respective platform (Web, Android, iOS). If you have
not installed the respective app, you can scan the QR code.
Furthermore can be found on this screen, the P2P ID and password of the Network Video
Recorder (The password can be changed).
Step 2:
Enable or disable the DHCP setting. If DHCP is enabled, the Network Video Recorder is
automatically assigned an IP address on the network. Disable DHCP, you must assign a
fixed IP address. Disabling DHCP is recommended for advanced users only!
Close the installation wizard with EXIT.
