Removing soiling from the brush roller
CAUTION: If the brush roller has been blocked by an obstruction, the motor protection switch may
have been triggered. In this case, remove the rechargeable battery and clear the cause. Wait for 30
minutes so that the switch can reset. Re-insert the rechargeable battery, disconnect the brush base
and first switch on the appliance and then the brush roller.
Remove the rechargeable
battery. Set the appliance
down as shown in the
illustration. Press the locking
clips (see fig.) together.

Replacing the brush roller

Remove the rechargeable
battery. Set the appliance down
as shown in the illustration.
Press the locking clips (see fig.)
together.
Press the retaining clips on the
brush roller cover towards the
brush roller. Open up the cover.

Press the retaining clips
on the brush roller cover
towards the brush roller.
Open up the cover.
First raise the brush roller
at the side which is not
held by the V-belt.
Then lift the V-belt from
the shaft.
Use scissors to carefully
remove hairs and other
soiling.
After cleaning, press the retaining
clips on the cover back into their
recesses. Finally, push the locking
clips apart to secure the cover.
Replace the brush roller. First thread
the new brush roller into the V-belt
(see above). Then carefully lower
both ends of the brush roller into the
brush base. Then press the retaining
clips on the cover back into their
recesses. Finally, push the locking
clips apart to secure the cover.
