Measurement (automatic mode)

If the sensor is not used the device will be operated using the legally pre-
scribed minimum power of the UV lamps (see the function description in the
device's operating instructions). The device's operating instructions also con-
tain a detailed description of the sensor display.
NOTICE:
The blood flow of the skin has an effect on the measurement
result. As a result, your physical condition on the day, sport-
ing activities or extreme ambient temperatures can result in
different measurement results.

Measurement failed 4x
If a measurement fails 4x then the device will operate at the minimum legally
required power setting.

Description
SUNANGEL devices are also capable of
reading a customer card or the application type can
be selected manually as described above.
After selecting the application type the sensor must
be removed from the station in automatic mode.
Hold the sensor to your forehead (not in the centre),
press and wait for the signal tone. The measure-
ment must be repeated if a corresponding message
is displayed.
Place the sensor on the lightest place on the body,
for example on the inside of the upper arm, and
press. Wait for the signal tone. The measurement
must be repeated if a corresponding message is
displayed.
Now you can pre-set all of the device functions, see
page 6 onward. These settings can be saved to a
customer card.
Note: The measurement results are not saved to
the customer card.
The application can start.
