Only use accessories recommended by the
manufacturer.
The mains voltage must correspond to the infor-
mation on the machine's type plate.
Avoid body contact to grounded elements, e.g.
pipes, radiators, stoves, and refrigerators, to pre-
vent an electric shock.
Never carry the device by the cable. Only pull
the cable from the receptacle with the plug.
Protect the cable from oil, heat, and sharp edges.
Damaged cables can cause an electric shock.
Check the device and power cable for damage
before starting work.
When plugging in the power plug, make sure that
the operating switch is not located in position.
Only use approved extension cables when using
the device outside.
When using a cable drum, unwind it entirely in
order to prevent the cable from heating up. The
minimum wire gauge is 1.5 mm 2 .
When working outside, the receptacle must be
equipped with a residual current circuit-breaker.
Pull the plug when you are not using the device
or making adjustments.
Always guide the cable away from the back of the
tool.
When you use the sander it will generate dust
that may be harmful, inflammable or explosive.
Take suitable precautions. Wear a dust mask.
Ensure that there is good ventilation when you
are working.
Do not sand material that contains asbestos.
Before you put down the sander, always switch it
off and wait until it has reached a standstill.
When you sand metal materials you will generate
sparks. Ensure that there is nobody and no inflam-
mable materials in the area where the sparks will
land.
The maximum speed of the accessory part must
be at least as high as the maximum speed speci-
fied on the electric tool.
Never use damaged tools.
Use accessories only for the purpose for which
they are designed.
Do not move your hand near the rotating tools
This tool is designed for two-handed operation.
This will enable you to hold the tool safely and
produce perfect results.
Use only grinding and sanding sheets with a
suitable particle size.
Use the tool for grinding and sanding small areas
and only for dry work.
Water may damage the tool and increases the risk
of an electric shock.
Use suitable detectors for electrical cables and
water / gas pipes before working on walls.
Contact with electric cables, water and gas pipes
may result in personal injury and damage to pro-
perty. If you are in any doubt, consult an expert.
Connect the tool to a suitable dust extraction
system.
Make sure that the mains cable and ON/OFF
switch are in safe condition and that the tool is
positioned safely.
Vibrations
Your hand and arm will be exposed to vibrations
when working with this device.
If you take the correct action you can reduce the
strain of these vibrations.
- Take regular breaks or change the type of work
you are doing regularly if it involves a great deal
of vibration.
- Keep your hands warm.
- Only hold the machine as tightly as necessary
during work.
- Only use machines and sanding/grinding equip-
ment which are in perfect working order.
- Select the speed on adjustable-speed machines
to suit the requirements of the job in hand.
If you fail to follow these recommendations, you
may suffer health problems if you work for long
periods on jobs which generate a lot of vibrations.
