19. Playing back audio signals from external
devices
The audio input (AUX-IN) is located on the back of the device.
Connect the 3.5 mm audio cable to the AUX-IN socket and to the audio output
on an external device, in order to output the audio signal on the Internet radio.
Then select the AUX menu. Alternatively, you can press the MODE button on the
remote control and then select the operating mode using the arrow buttons and
confirm with OK.
The audio signals from the external device are now played back through the
Internet radio's speakers.
20. Calling up the Internet radio's Web interface
If you enter the IP address of the Internet radio in your browser, the Internet
radio's Web interface will appear.
The current IP address can be found under System settings/Network./Settings
("View settings" on page 86).
Here, you can assign a new friendly name to your Internet radio (factory setting is
[MEDION]+[MAC address]).
21. Control using the Lifestream II application
You can control your Internet radio using the Lifestream II application
on your smartphone or tablet PC.
The Lifestream II application enables you to customise the sound, as
well as make the usual settings (such as Start, Stop, Repeat) or create
favourites lists and station searches.
21.1. Installation via direct link
By scanning the adjacent QR code, you can directly access the
page for downloading the Lifestream II app in Google Play or
Apple's App Store:

Open Google Play or the Apple App Store, and search for the term 'MEDION
Lifestream II'**.
Install the Medion Lifestream II app. Be sure to follow the installation
instructions on the screen.
