Replacing the fuse
Fuses may only be replaced when the mains plug has been pulled

"fixed" or repaired fuses or bridging the fuse bracket is not per-
mitted.
• Switch off the mixer and all connected devices.
• Unplug the mains power plug from the mains socket!
• Open the fuse compartment (31) with the aid of a screwdriver turning it in the anti-
clockwise direction.
• Replace the defective fuse with a new 315mA delay-action / 250V // 5x20mm

Check the mains socket
Only a 230~V/50Hz mains socket may be used as the source of pow-
er for the plug-in power unit. Never try to operate the device with a dif-
ferent voltage.
Pull out the mains plug from the socket only by the intended grips;
never by the cable.
The power cable may never be plugged in or out with wet hands.
Electrical devices must be kept out of the reach of children. Special
attention must be paid if children are present as children may try to
insert objects into the device. There is the risk of a fatal electric shock!
Always pull out the mains plug from the mains socket
- before cleaning the device.
- in case of thunderstorms
- if you do not use the device for a longer period.
Never operate the device without supervision.
Never place the device on an unstable or mobile base. If it falls, per-
sons could be injured or the device damaged.
Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or parts are
removed unless this can be done by hand. The connection points may
also be live.
Before calibrating, servicing, repair work or the replacement of parts or
assemblies, the device must be disconnected from all sources of cur-
rent if it has to be opened. If servicing or repairs on the open device
are unavoidable, it may only be carried out by a specialist who is
familiar with the risks involved and with the relevant regulations.
Never switch on the device immediately after it has been taken from a
cold to a warm one. The condense water that develops may destroy
the product. Allow the device to reach room temperature before
switching it on. Wait until the condense water has evaporated. This
can take some hours.
