12. Maintenance and cleaning

• Clean the race copter with a clean, soft cloth.
• Do not immerse the race copter in water, or the electrical parts will be damaged.
• Check the component parts of the race copter regularly, such as rotor blades, the chassis, motors, etc. If any of
them is damaged or worn, please do not use it again until it has been repaired.
• Depending on the race copter model you have purchased, if it has gears, we recommend that you lubricate them
with a silicon-based lubricant fairly regularly. In this way you will extend the useful life of the gears.
• Check the race copter's battery charge regularly. If you are not going to use the race copter for a while, ensure that
the flight battery is charged. Never store the flight battery after it is discharged.
Important!
Only use genuine replacement components to replace damaged or worn parts.
The spare part list can be found in the downloads section of our website (www.conrad.com).
You can also order the replacement part list by calling our customer service hotline. For contact details, please refer
to the "Introduction" section at the beginning of these instructions.

13. Disposal

a) Product

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in household waste. Always dispose
of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.

b) (Rechargeable) batteries

You as the end user are required by law to return all used batteries. Placing batteries in household waste is prohibited.
Batteries contain harmful chemicals and are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in household
waste is forbidden. The abbreviations for heavy metals in batteries are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury,
Pb = Lead (indicated on the battery, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to local collection points, our stores or battery retailers.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
