WARNING NOTES: The device is intended for private use only. Do not use the device for purposes for which it is not
intended. Any claims due to damage from non-intended use are ruled out. The operator is the sole bearer of the risk.
SAFETY & INSTALLATION
Read the instructions for use carefully before using the electronic device.
Observe the safety notes when commissioning the electronic device, because damage to property or personal injury
may occur. Follow all safety notes to prevent damage from incorrect use. Keep the instructions for use for later referen-
ce. If the device is given to a third party, these instructions for use must also be handed over, if applicable.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
1.
Check whether the mains voltage corresponds to the indications on the type plate of the device.

There is a risk of burns. Improper use may result in injuries, scalding and electric shocks.
3.
Do not use outdoors.
4.
Do not leave the UV MOP unattended while it is plugged in. Disconnect the mains cable if the device is not in
use and before you maintain the device.
5.
Do not allow using the UV MOP as a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
device. Special attention is required if it is used in the proximity of children, animals or plants.
6.
This device may be used by children above the age of eight, by persons with restricted physical, sensory or men-
tal abilities or by persons with a lack of experience or knowledge as long as they are supervised or have been
given instructions on how to use the device and they understand the associated hazards.
7.
Children may not use the device as a toy. The cleaning and maintenance may only be carried out by children under supervision.
8.
Children must be supervised if they use electronic devices or they use them in their proximity. Do not leave the
UV MOP unattended while it is plugged in.
9.
Ensure that children under the age of eight have no access to the device and the mains adapter as long as it is in
operation or cooling down.
10.
Never direct vapour in the direction of people, animals or plants.
11.
Do not dip the UV MOP in water or other liquids.
12.
Do not use with a damaged mains cable or socket.
13.
If the UV MOP does not work correctly has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dipped in water, it must be
returned to the manufacturer or an authorised repair shop to avoid hazards.
14.
Do not pull or carry using the cable, do not use the cable as a handle, do not close a door over the cable or
tension the cable around sharp corners or edges. Keep the cable away from heated surfaces.
15.
Never insert the cable in the socket with force.
16.
Do not use any telescope cables or sockets with insufficient power loads.
17.
Disconnect the socket after every use. To disconnect the socket without any risk, grasp the socket and pull it
softly out of the socket. Do not pull using the cable to disconnect the socket.
18.
Do not touch the socket or the UV MOP with wet hands or operate without shoes.
