Symptoms
Engine will not start.
Engine hard to start or
runs poorly.
Engine stops.
Engine overheating.
Battery not holding
charge.
Reels cut unevenly.
Mower does not react
to traction pedal.
Implement does not
raise or lower.
Gauges/Indicator
not
operating.
Possible Causes
1.
Parking brake disengaged,
traction pedal not in Neutral or reel
switch on.
2.
Battery low on charge or
defective.
3.
Fuel tank empty or dirty. Fuel shut
off valve closed.
4.
Fuse blown.

Fuel level low, fuel or fuel filter
dirty.
2.
Air cleaner dirty.
3.
Injectors, fuel pump.
4.
Engine problem.

Fuel tank empty.

Interlocks not set before leaving

PROBLEM SOLVING
1.
Check operator back-up system and start-up
procedure.
2.
Inspect condition of battery and battery connections.
3.
Fill with fresh fuel. Change fuel filter. Bleed fuel lines.
Open fuel shut off valve.
4.
Check and replace fuses as required.

Fill with fresh fuel. Change fuel filter. Bleed fuel lines.

Inspect and replace air filter.

Fill with fresh fuel and bleed fuel lines.

Engage parking brake, set reel switch to Off, and
traction pedal in Neutral.
