Do not open the lamp. There is a risk of a short circuit.
The device is protected against splashing water.There is
a risk of lethal electric shock in case of jetting water or
submersion.
Only plug the device into mains sockets installed in
accordance with the regulations. Only use connection aids,
such as cable drums, that meet the applicable safety stan-
dards.In case of smoke, burning smells or visible damage
to the device, there is a risk of fire or electric shock. There-
fore, immediately:t:

Disconnect the power plug from the socket.
•
mark the device as defective with a label so thatno one
else unknowingly switches on the device.
The power cable must not be subjected to any mechanical
tension or pressure, as this could expose dangerous live
conductors. Therefore:

Plan for sufficient cable length spare; use extension
cables if necessary.
•
Pull the cable out of the socket by the plug.
•
To change the working position, pull carefully on the
cable, not on the device.
•
do not place heavy or sharp objects on the cable.

Do not kink or knot the cable.
If the device is raised, it must be secured to prevent it from
falling down.
The bulb can become very hot during operation, especially
near where the light is emitted. There is a risk of burning,
fire or overheating. Check the surface temperature before
touching the bulb and do not cover the bulb.This device
should not be used by children or persons with mental
disabilities, as they may not be able to correctly assess the
dangers posed by electrical devices.
Note
It is forbidden to make any modifications to the device or
to manufacture additional equipment. Such changes may
result in personal injury and malfunction.

Visual inspection before starting work
The lamp is maintenance-free. Nevertheless, the lamp and
accessories must be checked for external damage before
each use.
•
If damage is visible, the lamp must not be used. It must
be repaired or disposed of by a person authorised and
trained for this purpose. Contact your Würth branch.
•
A damaged lead may only be exchanged by the manu-
facturer or an authorised service company.
Switch off the lamp and disconnect the mains plug before
carrying out any cleaning work.
To clean the lamp, wipe with a clean, soft cloth. Remove
stubborn dirt with a damp cloth and a standard household
cleaner.
Never use cleaning agents containing alcohol, solvents or
abrasives as these will damage the housing.
No use of technical solvents, acetone, benzene, carbon
tetrachloride, etc.
Storage
Fully charge the fixture before storing it for an extended
period of time. Recharge the lamp regularly if it is not used
for a longer period of time.
