⭯  Tighten the nut (45).
7. Remove the hex key (15) from the
spindle lock (49).
Putting on the double
shoulder strap
 DANGER! Risk of accident! Al-
ways wear the double shoulder strap
when working with the device. Always
switch off the device before taking off
the double shoulder strap.
NOTICE! The double shoulder strap is
equipped with a quick release device.
Opening the click fastener (7) releases
the device quickly from the double
shoulder strap in a dangerous situ-
ation.
Requirements
• The carabiner (8) is attached to the
eyelet with part of the click fasten-
er (7).
Procedure
1. Put the double shoulder strap (9)
on.
2. Adjust the strap length so that the
click fastener (7) is at hip height.
3. Attach the device to the double
shoulder strap (9): Close the click
fastener (7).
4. Place the hip protector (6) on your
hip between your body and the
device.

At the battery
1. Press the button (34) next to the
charge level indicator button (35)
on the battery (33).
The LEDs of the charge level in-
dicator show how much charge re-
mains in the battery.
2. Charge the battery (33) when only
the red LED on the charge level in-
dicator (35) is illuminated.
At the tool
1. The charge level indicator (11)
lights up during operation. If the
charge level indicator does not
light up, press the Unlock button
(3).
The LEDs of the charge level in-
dicator show how much charge re-
mains in the battery.
2. Charge the battery (33) when only
the red LED on the charge level in-
dicator (11) is illuminated.

Notes
• If warm, allow the battery to cool
before charging.
• Do not expose the battery to dir-
ect sunlight for long periods and
do not place it on a radiator (max.
50°C).
Charging the battery
1. Remove the battery (33) from the
device.
2. Push the battery (33) into the char-
ging slot of the battery charger
(37).
3. Connect the battery charger (37) to
a power outlet.
4. After charging, disconnect the bat-
tery charger (37) from the mains.
5. Pull the battery (33) out of the bat-
tery charger (37).
