POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
The ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C and ambient humidity should not
exceed 50%. Use the unit in properly ventilated spaces. Keep the unit away from
any hot surfaces. Always operate the unit on a level, stable, clean, fireproof and dry
surface that can support the weight of the unit and out of the reach of children and
persons with limited mental, sensory or intellectual functions. It is important that
the unit is in an exact horizontal position. Do not place the unit near open fire
sources, electric stoves, coal stoves or other heat sources, or in direct sunlight.
Maintain a minimum clearance of 10 cm from any wall of the unit. The work area
should provide immediate access to the air valves and the mains plug. Ensure that
the power supply to the unit corresponds to that specified on the identification
plate! Wash and disinfect the drying chamber and shelves before first use.
3.3. Working with the unit
1. Place the material to be dried on the shelf. Keeping at least 1/3 of the shelf area
empty for optimal conditions is recommended.
2. Close the air inlet valve [6] and the door. Make sure they are tight!
3. Connect the vacuum pump hose to the air outlet valve [7].
4. Unscrew the valve [7].
5. Switch on the vacuum pump.
6. Observe the vacuum gauge. A pointer going counterclockwise indicates venting
of the chamber.
7. When the vacuum gauge reads below zero (vacuum has been built up in the
chamber), turn off the valve [7] and switch off and disconnect the vacuum pump.
Pay special attention to the sequence of actions leading to the pump disconnection:
a change may cause the pump oil to leak into the drying chamber.
8. Connect the oven to the power source. The control panel will be illuminated.
9. Set the desired temperature:
(a) Press the setting button [14].
