undamaged. Do not use the product if damaged. In this case,
contact your local authorised specialist or the service address of
the manufacturer.
These operating instructions contain important information for the
first use and normal operation of this product.
Read through the complete operating instructions carefully before
using the product for the first time. Read the operating instruc-
tions for other devices which are to be operated with this product
or which are to be connected to this product. Keep these
operating instructions for future use or for future users' reference.
Failure to follow the operating instructions and safety
instructions may result in damage to the product and hazards
(injuries) for the operator and other persons.
The operating instructions refer to applicable standards and
regulations of the European Union. Please also adhere to the laws
and guidelines specific to your country.

⚠ GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Like all electrical products, this product should
not be used by children!
• Do not expose to potentially explosive environ-
ments where there are flammable liquids, dusts
or gases.
• Use the product exclusively with the
accessories included with it.
• Do not short-circuit connection terminals or
batteries.
• Operate the product only within its power limits
as cited in the technical data.
• Protect the product from moisture,
overheating and dirt. Use it only in dry
environments.
• Observe all information and safety
instructions on the product before use.
• Do not leave the device unattended whilst
operating.
• Please disconnect the product from the device
being charged once it has been fully charged.
Do not charge overnight. Do not charge

unsupervised.
• In order to prevent any risk of fire or electric
shock, the product must be protected from
moisture and rain! Never submerge the product
in water or other liquids. Do not use the device
if it is wet. Never operate the device with wet
hands.
• Do not charge and discharge the product at the
same time.
• Observe all information and safety instructions
for the device to be charged before using the
product.
• The product can be damaged by impacts,
shocks or being dropped, even from low heights.
Handle the product carefully. Do not continue to
use a damaged device. RISK OF EXPLOSION!
Dispose of the rechargeable battery in
accordance with instructions.
• Risk of injury, fire and damage due to short
circuit! Improper handling of the product can
lead to serious injury and damage.
• Risk of chemical burns! Risk of eye injuries.
Wear safety goggles and do not lean over the
battery. The electrolyte of the discharged starter
battery is liquid even at low temperatures.
• Battery acid is corrosive! In the event of
contact with skin or eyes, rinse the affected
area(s) immediately with plenty of water and
seek medical advice. Battery acid on textiles will
dissolve within 24-48 hours if left untreated and
can also attack areas of the body that come into
contact with it. Rinse the affected area(s)
immediately with plenty of water and change
clothing if necessary.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can cause
corrosive injuries if they come into contact with
the skin. Therefore wear suitable protective
gloves.
• The sequence of positive and
negative terminals must be observed when
connecting and disconnecting.
• Terminals must not touch each other.
⚠ DANGER OF FIRE AND EXPLOSION
• Batteries can develop explosive gases during
charging and release them into the environment.
Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid any
sparking.
