Never make modifications to the product! Modifications will
invalidate the warranty and the product may become unsafe
or – in the worst-case scenario – even dangerous.

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION REGARDING USE
Never open the enclosure.

Avoid extreme loads such as heat and cold, moisture and

direct sunlight, microwaves, as well as vibrations and
mechanical pressure.
Under no circumstances expose the product to electrical

voltage. E.g., by marking with an electrical engraving
device. This may damage the electronics.
Only use the specified battery type.

Pay attention to the correct polarity when inserting the
•
battery! This is indicated in the battery compartment.
Do not use any electrical devices in potentially explosive
•
areas, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases
or dust. Electrical devices generate sparks, which can
ignite the dust or exhaust fumes.
This appliance is not intended for use by people
•
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or who has received
instructions from them on how to use the appliance.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS INTENDED SPECIFICALLY FOR
BATTERY AND ACCUMULATOR DEVICES
Do not use damaged or modified batteries or equipment.

Defective or modified batteries can have unpredictable
behavior and cause fire, explosion or injury.
Do not expose a battery/accumulator or device to fire or

excessive temperature. Fire or high temperatures above
130°C (266°F) may cause an explosion.
Never make changes to the device! Do not modify or

attempt to repair the unit or the battery/accumulator.
Do not squeeze, puncture or modify the battery, expose
•
it to water, or dispose of it in the open or with household
waste!
In the event of battery leakage, immediately remove the
•
batteries from the product to avoid damage
If a battery has leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and
•
mucous membranes. If necessary, rinse the affected areas
with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of the reach of
•
children. In case of swallowing, consult a doctor
immediately!
INTENDED USES
The product is suitable for outdoor, indoor and depth
measurements. Use the product only for the purpose it is
intended for. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage
caused by unintended use. Any modification to the product
may negatively impact safety, cause hazards and invalidate the
warranty.
Only suitable for domestic use; not for commercial use.
UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS
Open the box and remove the product.
After unpacking, please check the product for damage and to
ensure it is complete. Subsequent complaints cannot be
accepted.
