12. Repeat step 10 and 11 for the other legrest.
13. Pull the legrest under the underwear or diaper.
14. Choose the most suited method to attach the legrest: crossed legrests, crossed
under both thighs, each legrest separately on the spreader bar
15. Check that all the mounting straps are of equal length. Adjust if needed
16. Position the patient lift as close to the chair in the desired position.
17. Use the loops to mount the straps to the patient hoist. First place the straps of the
backrest

19. Remove the underwear or diaper.
20. Lower the patient to the toilet or toilet seat.
21. Remove the mounting straps of the legrests from the spreader bar. Put the mounting
straps to the side.
22. To prepare for lifting attach the mounting straps of the legrests on the spreader bar.
23. The patient can be lifted.
24. During lifting it is possible to put the underwear or diaper over the sling.
25. The patient can be moved to the desired place with the patient lift.
26. The patient can be moved to a chair, bed, ... . See instructions lifting to sitting or
laying position.
2.3.4 Lifting from / to bath
For lifting from / to a bath refer to the procedure lifting from / to bed. These are the same
procedures.
For lifting from / to a bath it is better to use the 100% "net" polyester sling.

Folding of the slings
The figures Fig 30 until 32 on the back of this manual can be used to fold the slings:
1. Hold the sling with the handles towards you.
2. Fold the sling in the order as depicted in figures 30 until 32.
The sling can be held with one hand, with the other hand you can support the patient.
