2. Only attachment tool with closed end:
Remove the clamping nut ( 13 ).
3. Remove the attachment tool.
4. Place an attachment tool on the tool
holder ( 12 ). The pins in the tool hold-
er fit into the holes in the attachment
tool. If the attachment tool has an in-
scription, the inscription faces up.
You can rotate the attachment tool in-
to a position that is convenient for the
work.
5. Only attachment tool with closed end:
Fit the clamping nut ( 13 ). Do not
tighten the clamping nut.
6. Fold the clamping lever ( 1 ) back-
wards.
7. Check the attachment tool for tight fit.
Attachment tools that are incorrectly
fastened or not securely fastened can
come loose during operation and in-
jure you.
If the attachment tool is not tight, open
the clamping lever ( 1 ), tighten the
clamping nut a little, and close the
clamping lever.
Connecting dust extraction
Notes
• Always connect a dust extractor when
sanding with the delta sanding plate
(15). The dust extractor is not suitable
for use with other attachment tools.
• Ensure that the dust extraction system is
suitable, e.g. workshop vacuum clean-
er. Normal household vacuum cleaners
are not suitable for vacuuming sanding
material. This information can be found
in the operating instructions of the ex-
ternal device.

Connecting the dust extraction
(Fig. A)
1. Disassemble the attachment tool.
2. Slide the adaptor for external dust ex-
traction (23) over the tool holder (12).
3. Attach the adaptor for external dust ex-
traction (23) using a the Phillips screw
(22) to the thread (11) on the under-
side of the housing.
4. Fit the angle adapter (21).
The angle adapter can be rotated by
180°.
5. Connect the external suction hose to
the angle adapter (21).
6. Mount the delta sanding plate (15).
Removing the dust extraction
(Fig. A)
1. Remove the delta sanding plate (15).
2. Remove the external suction hose and
the angle adapter (21).
3. Loosen the screw (22) of the adapter
for external dust extraction (23).
4. Remove the adaptor for external dust
extraction (23).
Replacing the sanding sheet
Notes
• The Delta sanding plate is provided
with a Velcro fabric. This allows you to
attach sanding sheets easily and safely.
• Only use sanding sheets that match the
size and shape of the Delta sanding
plate.
• Before you put on a sanding sheet:
Clean the Delta sanding plate, espe-
cially the Velcro fabric. Use a vacuum
cleaner for this purpose, for example.
Attaching the sanding sheet
1. Place the sanding sheet on the Delta
sanding plate (15) and press the sand-
ing sheet firmly.
2. Check the following: Holes in the sand-
ing sheet and suction holes in the Delta
