DISTURBANCE
Interior light does
not work, but
compressor runs.
There is water in the
unit.
Cooling group starts
too often and for too
long.
Unit does not cool.
Side wall is very
warm (only for
models with foamed-
in condenser).
Sticker "OK" does not
appear.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Bulb is defective.
Condensation drain hole is
completely closed.
The appliance door is opened too
often.
Air circulation around the unit is
obstructed.
Unit is switched off or is not
supplied with power.
Temperature controller is set to
"0".
Ambient temperature is too low.
The condenser releases warm air
into the environment. If the
ambient temperature is too high,
heat can build up. As soon as the
ambient temperature has dropped,
the unit cools normally again. It is
essential to observe the clearances
(see chapter 2.2).
Average temperature in this range
set too high.
Operating noises / troubleshooting
CAUSE / REMEDY
Caused by the compressor when it is
in operation.
Arises from the circulation of the
refrigerant in the unit.
The temperature controller switches
the compressor on or off.
Leave a safe distance between the
bottles and other containers.
Check if the condenser at the back of
the unit is loose.
Fasten the condenser.
MEASURES
Replace the bulb
(see chapter 4.4).
Clean the condensation
drain hole, e.g. with a
cotton swab.
Do not open the
appliance door
unnecessarily.
Leave the area around
the unit free.
Check the power supply
and fuses. Check that the
mains plug is correctly
inserted in the socket.
Check that there is
voltage at the socket.
Check the temperature
controller settings.
(see chapter 2.2)
No measures necessary.
Set the temperature
control to a colder level.
