INSTALLATIoN
The rM 20 is held in place by a
magnetic mount. This mount can
be fastened to the ceiling in two
different ways, as described below.
Please note that only one side of the
magnet can attract the unit
magnetically.
ADHESIoN
If the adhesion method is used to
install the unit, only the hot glue
supplied with the product is
permitted for use. The surface on
which the device is to be installed
must by fi rm, dry and free from
grease, dust and loose paint etc.
Apply the hot glue to the non-drilled
exterior of the magnetic mount (III)
in fi ve places as pictured below and
press the magnetic mount (III) on
to the desired installation surface
immediately. The unit can be
attached to the magnetic mount (III)
after roughly two minutes.
DRILLING
Drill a hole into the installation
surface with a 6 mm drill bit and
insert the supplied 6 mm wall plug
into the hole. Guide the supplied 5 mm
countersunk head screw through the
underside of the magnetic mount (III)
pictured below so that the screw with
be fl ush with the magnetic mount
(III) when it has been screwed into
