1 Product information
The incubation hoods of the CERTOMAT ® H/HK are
universal incubation systems for assembly on a
laboratory table.
The incubation chamber is designed so that
various laboratory shakers from the CERTOMAT ® -
instrument range of Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH as
well as other devices can be inserted.
The special features are:

Large incubation chamber - approx. 520 x 420 x 600
mm (width x height x depth)
•
Plexiglass hood for unobstructed viewing of the
incubated media and cultures
•
Temperature range:
- CERTOMAT ® H: 8 °C above RT ... +60 °C
- CERTOMAT ® HK: +10 °C ... +60 °C
(with suitable external cooling)
•
Short heating time by the microprocessor-controlled
heating system
•
Optical alarm (indicator E1 on the display) and acoustic
alarm given excess temperature or subtemperature
•
Memory function: last used target temperature is saved
•

appendix.
2 Delivery and Installation
2.1 General instructions
• The CERTOMAT ® H/HK is delivered after it has carefully
undergone a function test. If you have any complaints,
please pay attention to the tips below.
2.2 Unpacking and checking for fullness
The scope of delivery of the CERTOMAT ® H/HK depends
on what you order and usually contains:
- Control section complete (white)
- Rear panel, plexiglass
- Side panel, plexiglass
- Crosspiece, white
- Hood, plexiglass
- Front flap with handle, plexiglass
- Power cable
- 2 spare fuses (6.3 Amp) for connection to 115 V
power supply

Check if the shipment is complete. Check if equipment
or accessories were damaged during the transport. If
there are missing or damaged parts immediately notify
the supplier and Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH.
The plexiglass parts are factory-equipped with a white
protective foil on the outside and a transparent
protective foil inside that should protect them from
damage in transit. Remove both foils before assembling
the plexiglass parts.
