OPERATION
Pan detection symbol
When the pan detection symbol is blinking on the display:
•
you have not placed a pan on the correct cooking zone;
•
the pan you're using is not suitable for induction cooking;
•
the pan is too small or not properly centred on the cooking zone.
The cooking zone does not work until a suitable pan is placed on the cooking zone.
▷
Lock function
Use this function to prevent the hob from being switched on unintentionally.
1. Simultaneously turn the knobs of the two left cooking zones counterclockwise and hold the
knobs in that position for a moment until an acoustic signal sounds and 'L' appears in all
displays.
▷
The lock function is activated.
2. Simultaneously turn the knobs of the two left cooking zones counterclockwise again
and hold the knobs in that position for a moment until an acoustic signal sounds and 'L'
disappears in all displays.
The lock function is deactivated.
▷
Keep warm function
Use this function to keep food warm directly after cooking (at approximately 70 °C). This will
avoid liquids overflowing and burning on the bottom of the pan. The maximum duration of
"keeping warm" is 2 hours.
The cooking zone is switched on (the knob is at power level 2 or higher).
1. Turn the knob of the zone in question back to power setting 1.
The keep warm symbol 'u' appears in the display.
▷
▷
The keep warm function is activated.
2. Stop the keep warm function by turning the knob of the relevant zone back until '0' appears
in the display.
If a cooking zone is not in use, you can switch on the keep warm function by turning the
knob of the zone in question beyond position 1 and then returning the knob to position
1; the keep warm symbol 'u' appears in the display.
