Step 3 - Setting eggs
DAY 1
Plan to set a minimum of six eggs at a time. Setting fewer
eggs, especially if they have been shipped, will often result in
only one or no chicks hatching.
Chicks are animals that depend on companions to be
healthy and happy.
Here is an example for hatching eggs with 21 incubation
days (chick eggs).
If you need information on how to hatch other type of eggs
go to our website: www.okkobi.com

Optional step: to ensure that
yo u r e g g s a re ro t a t i n g
properly. It can help to make
two marks on the opposite
sides of the egg as it is not
always easy to observe
rotation without these marks.
Make two marks – can be the drawings of your choice –
with a pencil (never a pen) on the two sides of the egg
shell to ensure that eggs are rotating.
If the egg does not rotate, make sure the eggs are well
positioned on the tubes, contact us at hello@okkobi.com
if the problem persists.

2
Put the fertilized eggs on the
rotating tubes, leaving a space
between each one to ensure
proper rotation. Put the lid back
on the box.
3
If the temperature/humidity exceeds or falls below the
default settings an alarm will be triggered. If the alarm
goes off, it may be that the place where you put the
incubator is exposed to sunlight or drafts that affect
the temperature/humidity. If this is the case, please
put the incubator under the conditions mentioned on
page 3.
If you want to turn the alarm sound off, press "-" .
