Remove all packaging materials. Clean the toaster with a damp cloth, as specified in the "Cleaning and
maintenance" section.
Make sure there is enough space between the toaster and walls or other appliances, as the toaster is
very hot when in use.
Plug in the appliance. Run a toasting cycle without bread at an intermediate level. Lower the lever until it
locks. When the toasting cycle is complete, the lever will automatically raise

Function - Type of bread selection
Before starting a cycle, you can select the type of bread you are going to use (button 4 figure 1): classic
bread, bagel or waffle. The selected type will flash. Lower the lever to start the cycle. The display will show
the time remaining in the cycle.
Note: When selecting a type of bread, the heating power is determined automatically.
Function - Toasting bread by selecting the heating level
Place one or two slices of bread in the slots.
Note: if you only want to toast one slice of bread, it will be more golden brown for the same heating level.
Set the desired heat level (knob 7 figure 1). There are seven levels to choose from: level 1 is very light and
level 7 is very hot. Press the lever until it locks. The toaster will start to toast. The display shows the time
remaining in the cycle.
Function - Defrosting
Place the slices of bread in the slots. Select the type of bread (button 4 figure 1). Then press the defrost
function (button 8 figure 1). Press the lever down until it locks.
Function - Reheating
Place the slices of bread in the slots. Press the reheat button (button 7 figure 1). Press the lever until it
locks.
You can stop the cycle at any time by pressing the "Start-Stop" button (button 6, Figure 1). When the
cycle is complete, the lever will automatically raise and the appliance will automatically switch off.
Cleaning and maintenance
Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning. Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and unplug
it. Do not immerse the appliance or the power cable in water.
Wipe the toaster with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive agents as they may damage the appliance.
To remove stuck slices of bread, unplug the toaster, turn it over and give it a gentle shake. Never try to
remove stuck-on slices of bread with metal tools.
Remove crumbs and small pieces of bread from the crumb tray regularly. To do this, pull the crumb tray
out to the side and empty it. Wipe the crumb tray with a damp cloth, then dry it well and put it back in
the appliance.
